Malmedie participates at 31st International Crane Conference in Bochum

During the international Crane Conference in Bochum on 23rd and 24th of May 2023 at Ruhr-University Bochum, academia and businesses alike came together to discuss crane technology. The title of this year’s symposium was “Digitalization, Innovation, Product Safety”.

The corresponding institutes of the Universities of Magdeburg, Bochum and Dresden responsible for materials handling take turns organizing the Crane Conference to pay tribute to the role cranes play in the field. The Crane Conference is an established, specialist event that provides information on research results and new developments on all problems relating to cranes from a university and practical perspective.

Malmedie participated this year with a team of three to keep informed about the state of the art and possible future developments. We are looking forward to participate again next year on the 11th and 12th of March 2024 in Dresden. Thanks to the team of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jan Scholten at Ruhr-University Bochum for organizing this great event!
